Scholarz Vision & Updated Roadmap

Hi everyone! It has been a while since our last teaser about our roadmap. Before anything else, let us wish you a happy new year and may 2022 bring us all new friends, joy and prosperity. 2022 will also be a year for us to keep our endeavours and 1,000% effort in building a big ecosystem revolved around play-and-earn and learn-and-earn.

Looking back to our journey, it is safe to say that it has been an eventful and educational one for us. We started off wanting everything to be organic, as what we have experienced by being in Cyberkongz community early. We believe that true mission and underpromise-overdeliver nature will get us far and thus we refrained from doing the new project cliches such as discord invite comps, notorious giveaways, influencers WL, paying followers and spamming marketing campaigns, etc. Turned out, most things did not go well for us for the facts: 1. Market was somewhat bearish at the time; 2. NFT ppl started to experience a lot of rugpulls/cashgrabs/hacks/scam that they are being more cautious (rightfully so and everyone should) and flippers are playing a bigger waiting-for-hype game to catch quick-flips; and 3. Gas cost was outrageous at the time that it did not play well to our on-chain traits decision. We then did not mint out (1,033/2,500) and obviously team felt down/upset/disappointed/sad (you name it) for obvious reasons that we do this project for all the good reasons but not getting much appreciation/support from wider audience and that development budget getting significant cuts.

However, we brushed off all negative thoughts and continued working for all of you, THE community that has been with us and supported us throughout this journey. We can’t stress enough how grateful we are for all these new friends and families in discord have been very crucial to us and has kept us going. Talks about floor were almost non-existent, whatever small updates or excitements we shared received so much love, and all of you have stuck around with us since day 1 (Yes i’m talking about you guys lecturers and all the familiar faces).

So what have we done since then?

1. We reworked remaining mints as free mints
2. We took the freedom in using reworked free mints to rollout and test our Homework dashboard and $EXP token utility model early on
3. We focused to increase engagements with our community hands-on
4. We made use of the popular WL model to obtain as many WL as we can get for our holders
5. We built an alpha channel for verified holders
6. We tried to build partnerships with several other key projects (Propertys, Nanopass, PxQuest, Kumo x World, Techtree and some others to be revealed as we go)
7. We basically revisited and took time to polish everything in our initial roadmap out and keep keep keep keep pushing
8. And lastly, we are really being careful and prudent with our limited budget and stays with 5-ppl team to develop everything

Our Vision

That being said, we want to use this post as a statement to our core vision since day one. We want to empower as many people as we can through education, game(s), and blockchain technology. Will stop here as vision should be simple and straightforward. When we deep-dive into how, there are basically a lot of things to build that will eventually enable us to start combining educative, fun, and rewarding elements to our ecosystem and all of our products.

Then, what are the plans? Let’s revisit what we have shared earlier before public mint.

OUR INITIAL ROADMAP

All of the above milestones remain intact, with some additional twists here and there along the lines. We have been working overtime both thinking and doing things to improve our plan and roadmap. Hence, let us introduce Skoolverse !

SKOOLVERSE ILLUSTRATIVE MODEL

Skoolverse is basically the end-game state of one big ecosystem that we envision for Scholarz project. Let us walk you through it parts-by-parts

1.Scholarz - Genesis Collection

There will only be 2,500 Genesis forever. We reserved 2,500 Scholarz for public mint back in mid-November but only 1,033 minted. What about the remaining? We basically reworked everything to reward our initial supporters and you can read in more detail here https://scholarz.medium.com/scholarz-genesis-minting-with-exp-a0df6c932b5d . Genesis will play a really big role in the overall ecosystem; ability to get attendance reward the highest is one. Future staking is another one; this will exclusively involve genesis collection for [redacted] purposes. Crafting for future collections is also only available for holders of Genesis. We have not even touched on some future free-claims that will be essential in the ecosystem.

2.Scholarz Dashboard

We released Dashboard in December and it will be the hub to our ecosystem. The most important part of the dashboard is Homework. Through homework, Scholarz will get daily tasks, something like a quest for people familiar with lots of games, ranging from simple daily attendance, trivias, or specific things to do in our ecosystem. Upon completion, Scholarz will be rewarded $EXP as our native utility token. Going forward, there will be several others functions built within the dashboard and homework, such as ads, polls, scholarship management, shops, etc etc etc. Can’t leak everything today right? 3.$EXP Token

Another key to realize the potential of our ecosystem and play-and-earn and learn-and-earn model will be $EXP token. At the moment, here is what we can share about $EXP since there will be another dedicated post around this.

1. $EXP is our utility token and could only be generated by Scholarz holders
2. $EXP at this point remains a backend token -> means that it lives only in our website and not claimable yet as ERC-20 token
3. $EXP can only be earned via doing homework or manual reward from our discord activities
4. $EXP utility at the moment is to mint remaining unminted Scholarz Genesis (please refer to https://scholarz.medium.com/scholarz-genesis-minting-with-exp-a0df6c932b5d)
5. We are targeting to finish the smart contract for $EXP by end of January and it will have interesting tokenomics for sure. Liquidity will be provided by the team, using our proceeds

4.Skoolverse Land

Land is an additional roadmap that we have decided to do in order to fill the gaps on several functionality and in general will be a medium for Scholarz holders to have collective ownership on Skoolverse and whatever revenue potential our ecosystem will have. It will also be required if you would like to stake Genesis and upgrade your land to create ownership on our [redacted], playground, classroom, and battleground among others.

5.Scholarz - Candidate Collection

Before launch of Playground and Classroom, we will launch crafting of Scholarz Candidate. This collection will play a big role in regard to getting better $EXP reward from our play-and-earn and learn-and-earn model. On top of that, we are planning a scholarship mechanics to allow free-access to our P&E & L&E ecosystem for non holders which only owner of Candidates can create and manage.

6.Scholarz Playground

Playground will be where Scholarz holder or any other projects that would love to partner with us to play assortment of nostalgic mini-games that we will relive and make it competitive for $EXP rewards. There will be energy model implemented for users to ensure control over certain economic elements. In the long run, we envision Playground to be a platform for interested party to build their own mini-games and get royalties.

7.Scholarz Classroom

Classroom will be the key enabler for us to provide educational contents for our users in the beginning and to wider audience along the way. We have been building base contents around crypto, NFT, and technical analysis because our initial audience will be NFT and crypto investors. We will follow that up with more basic topics such as Math and several others and go into localization route, partnering with local education platform(s) to reach out to more underprivileged people (in this case, in Indonesia as our starting point) and our scholarship mechanics including YOU will be key to this mission.

8.Evolution and Scholarz Battleground

This is the end-game position for us at the moment in our updated roadmap, where we will develop an original full-action open world battleground that will utilize stats that is developed through crafting, evolved version of Candidates, and much cooler play-and-earn model. This is too early to discuss as much more moving parts are involved, but just to give you rough picture on what we plan for the long run.

Wen? Wen? Wen?

Those are ambitious! Yes, indeed! But since our vision is an ecosystem, then it should be such a mega-project. You guys as our supporters deserve no less. So, when should you expect each milestones?

We are preparing a real entity for the venture, building a team, and allocating budgets as we speak; while also working on land & token smart contract in parallel. Some indicative timeline we can share:

• End of Jan to Early Feb 2022 → Land free claim and $EXP smart contract and liquidity
• End of Q1 to early Q2 2022 → Scholarz Candidates, Playground, and Classroom launch
• Q3 2022 → Evolution
• Q4 2022 → Scholarz Battleground
